Azerbaijan Develops Special Plan for Restoration of Naftalan Resort Area

Aynur Aliyeva; Azerbaijan has started development of general concept of the regions for next years.

Currently, in accordance with the order of the head of the state, works are underway to make Naftalan a high-level sanatoria-resort center5.

Though a number of resorts were constructed here during the USSR period, most of these constructions are incomplete. According to Renessans Studio LLC, retreatment-tourism condition of the city will be improved. One part of the city will be sanatoria, other part - living area. 500-600 ha will be covered with green grass.
