Mps Request Increase of Funds Allocated to Parliament

Today at a meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament, MPs have complained of shortage of funds allocated from the budget to the parliament.

Addressing the discussion of the budget package for 2018, MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev said that the parliament consists of 125 deputies who are represented in organizations abroad, APA reports. The MP noted that despite this fact, the Presidential Administration was allocated funds four times more than those allocated to the parliament. 'The parliament is an independent branch of the government. I would like to know what the difference is. Do they often go on business trips or how? The difference is so surprising,', said the MP.
