Ministry of Taxes Makes Public Outcomes of 2013

Agshin Rafigoglu; Today, a press conference on outcomes of previous year and works to be done in 2014 has been held in the Ministry of Taxes. According to APA-Economics, the press conference was attended by the Deputy Minister of Sahir Mammadkhanov, audit andamp; control advisor Ilgar Ahmadov, the Head of the Chief Department of Tax Policy and Strategic Research Natig Shirinov and chief of Main Department for Economic Analysis and State Registration of Entrepreneurs Ilkin Valiyev.

S. Mammadkhanov said that the Ministry of Taxes transferred AZN 6,663.6 mln to the state budget in 2013, up AZN 263.6 mln or 4.1% from forecast.

He says the taxes collected from non-oil sector increased by 14.4% to AZN 3,761.6 mln. Tax receipts soared 9.3 times during a decade, in the regions, this figure surged AZN 539.5 mln or 4.3 times.
