Eu Commissioner: 'btk Project is in Our Interest'

EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn touched upon the importance of theBaku-Tbilisi-Kars project during a meeting with participants of a press tour organized as part of the Eastern Partnership summit on Nov. 23, an APAcorrespondent reported from Brussels.

'Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project is in our interest. Opinions are sound that this is a part of the Silk Way concept which is definitely in our interest,' said the commissioner, an APA correspondent reported from Brussels.

He noted that the EU is the most important trade partner for around 20 countries.

'The EU is open for international trade relations. We are interested in any kind of the infrastructure projects,' added Hahn.
