Aydin Aliyev: Control Will Be Tightened Over the Vehicles Imported to Azerbaijan

Agshin Rafigoglu; Azerbaijan State Customs Committee has commented on the import of vehicles as the country will switch to Euro 4 standard from April, APA-Economics reports.

Chairman of the Committee Aydin Aliyev said the State Customs Committee will tighten security over this sphere.

According to him, Azerbaijani customs bodies are fulfilling their obligations before the state budget mostly through import taxes and duties.

“But ecological situation in the country should also be taken into consideration. I think this is a timely and right decision passed regarding the transport sector and traffic jams in the country,” he said.
