Prominent Pakistanis Issues Statement Condemning Occupation of Azerbaijan's Territories

Pakistan’s leading English-language “Pakistan Observer” newspaper has published an article entitled “Prominent Pakistanis call for resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.

The Pakistani Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA that Pakistan Observer mobilizes public opinion for peaceful solution. The statement underlined that media representatives, public and political figures of Pakistan have issued a statement strongly condemning Khojaly Genocide. The statement reads:

“Soon after collapse of the USSR Armenia started open aggression against newly born Azerbaijan Republic and occupied 20% of Azerbaijani lands, including Nagorno- Karabakh and 7 adjacent districts. The capture of Khojaly town was particularly tragic.
